National Chief Executive Office for AAPM

The Australian Association of Practice Managers (AAPM) announces the appointment of Mark Greco as the Association's first National Chief Executive Officer.

Based in Sydney, Mark Greco joins AAPM after being the Client Services Manager for Diabetes Australia-NSW, the largest non-profit diabetes organisation in Australia. His wealth of experience will be crucially important in AAPM's drive for increased services to practice managers throughout Australia.

AAPM develops and implements education, advocacy and support services for its financial members. Its flagship service is an educational practice management program which is jointly run with UNEP, an arm of the University of New England.

"We are entering a demanding period for practice managers," Mr Greco said. "The pending GST environment and the new FBT rulings – which will probably affect all non-profit organizations and is due to commence in April 2001 – will put increased responsibility and pressure on many practice managers. Practice managers who are financial members of AAPM will benefit from the support AAPM will be providing during this new era in Australian business."
