New HELPie combines biteblock, tongue deflector and suction all-in-one

HELPie is an innovative new disposable product that combines three functions to facilitate faster treatment delivery and save time for dentists and dental hygienists.

The product's excellence is based on three functional features:

• A flexible bite block which keeps the patient's mouth open without feeling unpleasant;
• A tongue cone to direct the tongue away from the work area, without restricting its movement, so the tongue remains free to move within the cone. The cone also keeps the floor of mouth clear from the work area; and
• Powerful one-hole suction. The location of suction can be adjusted according to the situation.

HELPie automatically adjusts to fit the patient's mouth and is also suitable for x-ray imaging without creating contrast. HELPie is quick to use as it requires no assembly, except for the attachment of the dedicated adapter hose which is included with the product. Left and right side versions are available.

HELPie allows dentists and dental hygienists to work alone as the patient's mouth is kept open during the whole operation and the patient's tongue remains clear from the working area, providing good access and visibility inside the patient's mouth.

Constant suction removes saliva and water from the mouth. The patient's need for swallowing is reduced, thus making the operation more comfortable for the patient.

The bite block does not restrict swallowing, due to the flex feature which has been found to be very pleasant by the patients.

In addition, the flat surface at the front of the bite block provides finger support while working with patients.

Dentists are able to see more patients, as using the HELPie saves a significant amount of time. User experiences have shown that dentists have gained a time saving of up to ten minutes per patient, allowing for efficient time management in treating patients, for example. This also means that the patient has to spend less time in the dentist's chair.

HELPie is a disposable product and improves work ergonomics and provides benefits for almost all dentist and dental hygienist procedures.
