15,000 tune in for world first 24h webinar

On the 23rd November 2019, the world's first 24-hour webinar in dental history took place: 31 lectures from 16 countries were streamed live around the globe.

The 24-hour webinar offered an interactive platform with world-renowned speakers on which participants could exchange ideas and learn about the latest research results, the latest innovation and the most advanced clinical protocols, on all aspects of dental prevention and prophylaxis.

The webinar, hosted by EMS, the market leader in dental prophylaxis was certified with a total of 31 CPD Hours. "It was exciting to be part of probably the largest training event ever organised in dentistry: The first 24-hour webinar marathon in prevention and prophylaxis," said Prof. Dr Magda Mensi from Italy. 15,000 people from 95 countries registered and generated 387,379 viewing minutes. More than 500 questions and comments were posted to the speakers which made the entire experience interactive and memorable. EMS stated that it very much appreciated and thanked all who participated and in particular, the 31 wonderful speakers who went above and beyond in making sure participants received a first class experience.
