EXACT launches Online Patient Booking Portal to facilitate online recalls

Software of Excellence has launched an Online Patient Booking Portal to facilitate online recalls for its Exact practice management software system. Online Recalls enable patients to make their bookings online, with live data identifying available times.

Designed to eliminate the endless phone calls which sometimes transpire with patients trying to make suitable bookings, this new option allows patients to receive an email or SMS reminder about booking an appointment, then go online and select a time that suits them. The patient then receives email confirmation of their booking and the practice automatically receives a notification in their appointment book.

If a practice doesn’t have a website, then Software of Excellence can also help to create a customised web form for them.

Email, SMS and the use of smartphones are now the preferred method of communication for many people. The Online Booking Portal uses this to its advantage and allows patients to book appointments in their own time and at their own convenience.

Development of Online Recalls for OASiS is also well underway, with plans for release later this year.
